Research on Wavefront Correction Technique Based on Information Theory

摘要The wavefront correction technique based on mutual information can effectively optimize performance of the adaptive optics system. This paper researches the application of the wavefront correction technique on the adaptive optics system. By evaluating the ability of wavefront reconstruction of the modal basis, the modal basis can be recombined. So the basis dimension of wavefront reconstruction can be reduced and calculating time is obviously shortened. Based on Zernike method and MI method, an adaptive optics system is established with a 37-element deformable mirror. The experimental results show that MI method is better than Zernike method in reconstruction rate, reconstruction performance and correction effect. Thus the feasibility of the technique is demonstrated.
