摘要Ventilation calculation is one of the important contents of generator design. Most researcher studies only on partial components or make important details simplified. They can’t accurately analyze the internal heat dissipation. In this paper the flow field was analyzed for a generator by CFD approach, using the package surface technology in order to keep the geometric characteristics. Based on the results of the analysis to improve its cooling duct. Before and after simulation results were contrasted, Cylinder head velocity distribution increases from 0.1-0.2m/s to 1-4m/s, Silencer, motor and cylinder head average heat transfer coefficient increased respectively by 78.2%, 116.4% and 604.7%, Flux on outlet1 is increased by 13.8%, The improved model cooling effect was significantly higher than the pre model. Research on the generator duct design has important reference value. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
